Mesquite gets the hail, and the houses are old enough to have copper

Mesquite sits in the path of a lot of spring storms. After a hail day the scrap is aluminum from roofs plus cars that will never be repaired, parked in driveways off Bruton and in the neighborhoods around Town East. Roofing scrap is light. Do not describe it as copper.

The houses themselves are older east-Dallas stock. A kitchen remodel still produces real copper and a cast sink. That load is worth keeping dry and separate from the roofing pile in the same side yard.
