Garland still has plants, and the houses match the era

Garland’s industrial east side produces the kind of scrap a suburb of only houses does not: machine bases, bus bar, and steel from a line that got replaced. It may be oily. Say so. A yard would rather downgrade honestly than find fluid in the load.

The neighborhoods are older than Frisco’s. Bathroom and kitchen remodels still yield copper and brass, plus the cast tubs people are finally willing to let go. Keep those out of the plant steel. They are a different grade and a different truck.
