Irving splits into office towers, warehouses, and older streets

Las Colinas tenant work produces cable, light steel, and the hardware of a floor that is being handed back to a landlord. South and west, nearer the airport support shops, the scrap is more industrial: racking, dock steel, and aluminum from a fit-out that changed twice in a decade.

The residential pockets, especially south Irving, still generate ordinary household metal and junk cars on tight lots. A pickup note should say whether the address is a loading dock with a badge reader or a driveway off a residential street.
